Successful completion of the Certificate of Attainment in Foundation Studies (Foundation Studies programme) is recognised by all New Zealand universities and guarantees entry to most University of Waikato undergraduate degrees.
The curriculum develops subject knowledge and skills as well as leadership and teamwork skills to help equip students for university within a supportive and personalised learning environment. Students are taught on the University of Waikato main campus and are able to access all services and facilities as degree level students.
